MIB Explorer’s Trap Receiver is capable of receiving SNMPv1 traps as well as SNMPv2c/v3 notifications and inform requests. Any combination of local IP addresses and UDP ports can be configured for listening. The Trap Receiver can be configured to assign severity levels to notification OID subtrees. Notification IDs of received messages are displayed with the corresponding severity color. In addition, received traps can be forwarded to e-mail addresses based on their severity level.
